Summary:



This arc is named after the new set of bad guys, who are a dire threat to both Soul Society and Earth, and it directly
follows the Rescue Rukia Arc in canon. If you are interested about the filler arc that comes between this one and the

After the captains who betrayed Soul Society defect, they go to Hueco Mundo to create Arrancar - hollows with powers
like a shinigami. Meanwhile, on Earth, Ichigo's new classmate is more than he appears, and Ichigo learns about the
Visoreds, shinigami with powers like a hollow - similar to Ichigo himself. Ichigo searches for answers and trains for
the upcoming battles, but he's not alone.



Yamamoto-Genryuusai, the captain-commander (aka general), deploys a special task force to Earth, consisting of one
unseated officer, two seated officers, two lieutenants (aka vice-captains), and one captain. Hitsugaya Toushirou leads
the team on both a sentry mission of intel-reconnaissance and guard duty of protecting the residents of Karakura Town
from the invading and ever more powerful hollows.
